This paper proposes a Graph-Guided Marginal-Impact Adaptive Differential Evolution (GMA-DE) method for simultaneous distributed generation (DG) siting and sizing in radial distribution networks (DNs). The method integrates adaptive differential evolution with marginal-impact guidance, electrical-distance information, and saturation-aware capacity refinement. It is evaluated on the 33-bus and 69-bus systems and compared with PSO, DE, GWO, and COA. For the 33-bus system, GMA-DE reduces active power loss from 202.73 kW to 98.84 kW, corresponding to a 51.25% reduction, while improving the minimum voltage to 0.9724 p.u. For the 69-bus system, the loss decreases from 224.89 kW to 107.62 kW, with a 52.15% reduction and a minimum voltage of 0.9731 p.u. Results over 30 independent runs also indicate improved solution quality and robustness compared with the benchmark algorithms. These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of incorporating network topology and dynamic marginal benefits into DG planning.
